Emergency & Safety Guide
Parents and Guardians Have a Key Role in Emergency Response
During and following an emergency situation, school and district officials must act quickly and follow established emergency protocols to safeguard students and staff, secure schools, and communicate accurate information in a timely manner. Parents can assist greatly by helping with preparation before the emergency.
Emergency Cards
Each student must have an emergency card on file in the house office. Emergency cards will be checked when early release of students is requested and when it is necessary to contact parent/guardian in an emergency. Updated names and numbers are essential!
Mock Drills/Evacuations
We have mock drills on campus to prepare in the event that we have a real crisis: fire drill, severe weather, active assailant, suspicious package, and hazardous material.
